Step 1.

Before we begin, you should decide if you are going to draw a violet, or a bundle of violets. I say this because you will need to draw the amount of shapes for each flower. As you see I will draw two violets which means you will need to make two circles and two stem lines.

 

Step 2.

Here you will draw two tear drop shapes in each center of each flower like you see. This should be a very easy task to complete.

 

Step 3.

Now begin sketching out the semi heart shaped pedals for the violet flower like you see here. Some violets have as many as five pedals, so you can choose how many to draw in.

 

Step 4.

Draw in the other pedals, and then add the pinched detailing lines in the center of each violet. When that is done you can thicken the lining for the stems, and then draw the beginning of the flowers leafs.

 

Step 5.

The last thing to do to finish off your violets, is to finish drawing in the serrated edged leaves like you see here. Once that is done you can begin erasing all the guidelines and shapes you drew in step one.

 

Step 6.

When you are all done, this is how your flowers should come out looking. All you need to do is grab your purple crayon, marker, or paint, and start adding some pretty shades to the violets you just drew. Great work guys!
